Governors Oppose the Roadless Rule Repeal

Governors of several states recently announced their opposition to the Bush administration's proposal to repeal protections for our last wild forests.

• Nine governors announced their opposition jointly. They join the governors of Virginia, Wyoming, Oregon, Tennessee and North Carolina, who also oppose the Bush administration plan.
