This privacy statement discloses our information gathering and dissemination practices for ourforests.org.
Until December 23, 2000, ourforests.org included forms for visitors to send e-postcards to decision makers, invite their friends to the site, and sign up to volunteer. These functions are no longer available at this time.
If you used any of these forms prior to December 23, 2000, your identity and contact information will be treated confidentially and will not be shared with organizations not affiliated with the Heritage Forests Campaign.
The email addresses of those who filled out an e-postcard, invited their friends, or signed up as volunteers or e-activists, are stored by the Heritage Forests Campaign in a database used only by the Heritage Forests Campaign. Future contact with members of this database will come in the form of action alerts, newsletters and campaign updates.
The Heritage Forests Campaign will not sell any personal information you provided (such as your name or contact information), nor will it make available your information to any outside organization without your express consent.
