privacy statement for ourforests.org
This privacy statement discloses our information gathering and dissemination practices for ourforests.org. This website was created and is managed for the Heritage Forests Campaign by the TechRocks.
Until December 23, 2000, ourforests.org included forms for visitors to send e-postcards to decision makers, invite their friends to the site, and sign up to volunteer. These functions are no longer available at this time.
If you used any of these forms prior to December 23, 2000, your identity and contact information will be treated confidentially and will not be shared with organizations not affiliated with the Heritage Forests Campaign.
If you submitted an e-postcard from the site, the Heritage Forests Campaign made the information that you provided on your e-postcard, including your opinion and identity, available to relevant public officials at the White House.
The email addresses of those who fill out an e-postcard, invite their friends, or sign up to volunteer, are stored by the TechRocks in a database used by the Heritage Forests Campaign. This database will be used for future activities such as action alerts and campaign updates.
The Heritage Forests Campaign will not sell any personal information you provided (such as your name or contact information), nor will it make available your information to any outside organization without your express consent.
