I'm here to talk to you today about America's Heritage Forests -- 60 million acres of spectacular wild forests that, over the next few months, will either continue to be exploited or be safeguarded forever.

We stand now on the brink of a momentous and histroic opportunity. And it's up to all of us to make sure we seize that opportunity. For unless we take bold and decisive action now, we risk losing these intact scenic wild forests forever.
